Job summary

Belectric UK is seeking an experienced Delivery Manager for the Operations & Maintenance team. The role is home-based with regular travel to sites and offers a salary up to £55,000, full-time permanent employment, and strong benefits including health cover and pension contributions.

The candidate will lead Additional Services projects within the O&M portfolio, coordinating upgrades, repairs and remediation across solar farms and BESS sites while interfacing with clients and stakeholders to

Qualifications

• Experience working on solar or BESS sites – ideally on a utility scale level.
• Knowledge of construction activities for solar farms and/or BESS sites.
• Understanding of CDM & HSE regulations.
• Budget/ cost management experience.
• Programme planning/scheduling.
• Contract management experience.
• Experience managing a programme of electrical and civil project work.
• Experience of managing sub-contractors.
• Knowledge of typical labour and materials costs in the solar industry.
• Experience delivering projects safely, on time and on budget.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute upgrade, repair and remediation works across solar farms and BESS sites.
• Interface with clients and stakeholders to manage expectations and progress.
• Manage a pipeline of work from quotation to warranty claims.
• Forecast long-term resource demand and address imbalances.
• Develop relationships with subcontractors and oversee site works.
• Draw up and implement a consolidated Project Plan with costs and timeframes.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer, warranty, contract terms and HSQE standards.
• Identify delivery risks and manage changes to scope, cost and programme.
• Control project costs and budgets; highlight margin risks.
• Support procurement, tendering, and handovers; coordinate with OEMs and suppliers.
