Job summary

Inspired is seeking a Sustainability Solutions Director to lead revenue growth for energy efficiency, decarbonisation and smart building solutions. The role is home-based with travel to offices, reporting to the Sales Director – Optimisation, and involves steering opportunities from qualification through to close.

You will work with pre-sales and solution development teams to build strong business cases, manage key client relationships, and ensure delivery aligns with energy and ESG objectives.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in B2B environments.
• Experience within sustainability, energy management, ESG, decarbonisation or net-zero environments.
• Knowledge of UK energy and building regulations, compliance frameworks and sustainability reporting requirements.
• Experience closing deals in contracts worth £1m+ and communicating value to executives.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business revenue within the sustainability solutions portfolio.
• Convert warm leads and manage the full sales cycle from qualification to close.
• Collaborate with Solution Development and Pre-Sales to build compelling business cases.
• Manage client relationships, forecasts and CRM hygiene to support growth.
• Represent the company at industry events and lead cross-functional engagement.
