Job summary

Inspired is a market-leading, technology-enabled provider of energy and sustainability solutions in the UK. We are seeking a Sustainability Solutions Manager (SSM) to drive revenue across our optimisation and decarbonisation division.

The role is home-based with travel to offices in the UK, reporting to the Sales Director – Optimisation. The SSM will qualify warm opportunities, convert them, and build long-term client relationships to deliver measurable energy, carbon and operational

Qualifications

• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding B2B sales targets.
• Experience in sustainability, energy management, ESG or decarbonisation.
• Knowledge of UK energy and building regulations, compliance frameworks and sustainability reporting requirements.
• Experience closing deals with contract value £1m or more.
• Strong consultative selling and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Convert warm opportunities from pre-qualified leads and develop them into long-term clients.
• Manage client relationships and ensure delivery aligns with commercial strategy.
• Lead commercial negotiations and drive opportunities to close.
• Collaborate with Solution Development & Pre-Sales to build compelling business cases.
• Represent Inspired at industry events to generate leads and raise profile.
