Job summary

Bond Recruitment is recruiting for a Pension Transfer Specialist on behalf of a market-leading Defined Benefit pension transfer bureau. The role involves giving regulated DB transfer advice, processing TVCs, and ensuring compliant, well-evidenced outcomes for clients.

The position offers flexible patterns (hybrid with office time, or fully remote for the right candidate), with full-time or part-time options. Strong regulatory knowledge and CPD commitment are essential.

Qualifications

• Holds the required pension transfer qualification (e.g. AF7 / G60, CISI or LIBF equivalent)
• Holds a Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent) and SPS
• Proven experience advising on Defined Benefit pension transfers
• Strong understanding of the FCA DB transfer rules and regulatory environment
• Clean regulatory record; able to meet FCA Certification Regime requirements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience advising on defined benefit pensions; cash flow modelling and TVC software

Responsibilities

• Giving regulated advice on Defined Benefit pension transfers in line with FCA rules and APTA requirements
• Reviewing transfer value comparators, cash flow modelling and scheme information
• Holding fact-finding and advice meetings with clients, remotely and face to face
• Producing clear, compliant suitability reports with paraplanning support
• Collaborating with referring IFA partners to keep clients and introducers informed
• Maintaining accurate case records on CRM
• Keeping CPD up to date with regulatory developments in DB space
