Alignerr is seeking a Data Science Expert — AI Content Specialist to design and audit advanced ML challenges. You will craft ground-truth solutions, review model-generated code, and provide structured feedback to improve AI reasoning in a fully remote, flexible contract role.

The position is an hourly contract with 10–40 hours per week, ideal for researchers and data scientists who thrive in async environments and want meaningful, impact-driven work with frontier AI projects.

Qualifications

• Requires an advanced degree in a quantitative field and strong ML/statistics foundations.
• Experience designing and auditing AI/ML challenges and solutions.
• Ability to code in Python/R and work with ML frameworks and data pipelines.
• Strong communication of complex algorithms and statistical results.

Responsibilities

• Design complex data science challenges covering hyperparameter optimization, Bayesian inference, and cross-validation.
• Create ground-truth solutions with scripts, queries, and derivations for benchmarking AI outputs.
• Audit model-generated code for correctness, efficiency, and best practices using ML libraries.
• Identify and document AI reasoning failures and provide actionable feedback.
• Stress-test model limits across neural architectures and data pipelines.
