Job summary

Bioptimus is seeking a Data Operations Lead to own the operational lifecycle of biomedical data partnerships, bridging hospitals, biobanks, CROs and internal teams to ensure timely data delivery and governance.

You will coordinate secure transfers via AWS S3/SFTP, harmonize multi-omics data, build scalable ingestion pipelines, and deliver dashboards tracking ingestion velocity and risks. Remote role, with global partnerships.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating external data partnerships and onboarding processes.
• Strong understanding of clinical and biomedical data structures.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data wrangling and automation.
• Experience with cloud data lifecycles and secure data transfers.

Responsibilities

• Own the operational lifecycle of external data partnerships and onboarding.
• Coordinate secure biomedical data transfers and ingestion workflows.
• Harmonize clinical and multi-omics data models with internal teams.
• Develop lightweight ingestion pipelines and automation tools.
• Maintain data quality, traceability, and version control throughout ingestion.
• Build dashboards for ingestion velocity, completeness, and risks.
• Collaborate with Data Science, Engineering, Legal, and Partnerships teams.
• Conduct periodic site visits and engagement with external partners.
