Job summary

Platform Housing Group is seeking a Data Governance Manager to shape and deliver the Group's data governance framework, focusing on data quality, policy, and compliance.

The role is home-based with travel to Worcester and Birmingham offices a couple of times a month; you will lead cross-functional teams and liaise with business owners to ensure data assets are well-defined and compliant.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing data governance in complex organisations.
• Proven ability to monitor, measure, and cleanse data quality.
• Understanding of data governance principles and frameworks.
• Experience in regulated environments (housing/public sector/financial services) is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, delivery and continuous improvement of data governance, data quality, and compliance across the Group.
• Ensure data assets are well-defined, high-quality and stewarded by business owners.
• Oversee management of data rights fulfilment (Subject Access Requests), ROPA, data rights, PIAs and audits.
• Champion a data-driven culture and develop policies, procedures, and standards.
