Job summary

Harnham is seeking a Data Analyst to join a leading organisation at the crossroads of workforce analytics and policy. The role is remote with one in-person Leeds day per month, offering up to £46,000 per year.

You will build complex Excel models, forecast workforce and financial outcomes, and translate policy questions into analytics for senior stakeholders. The ideal candidate holds a STEM degree and has strong problem-solving and communication skills, with experience handling large datasets

Qualifications

Advanced Excel skills and ability to build complex models.

Experience modelling workforce or financial scenarios.
Experience presenting technical information to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

Deliver workforce, pay, and reward analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Build and maintain complex Excel-based models to forecast workforce and financial outcomes.
Develop cost modelling for pay proposals, policy changes, and workforce initiatives.
Create scenario analysis and long-term forecasts with variable inputs.
Analyse large datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Translate questions into analytical specifications and modelling frameworks.
Produce clear reports and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
Present findings and insights to senior stakeholders.
