Job summary

ICP Search is seeking a Data Analyst to support an elite sports organisation's player recruitment function. The role focuses on using data to drive smarter, evidence-led decisions across the player acquisition cycle, from target identification to final decision support.

You will work closely with recruitment, technical and sporting leadership to build models, combine diverse data sources, and produce actionable insights for scouts and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience within professional football or equivalent elite sporting environment.
• Strong understanding of player recruitment and football decision-making.
• Ability to translate complex analysis into clear recommendations for sporting stakeholders.
• Exposure to recognised football data providers and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop analytical models to support player identification and evaluation.
• Combine event, tracking, physical and contextual data to assess performance and potential.
• Produce clear player reports, visualisations and presentations.
• Develop position-specific benchmarks, profiles and shortlists aligned to the playing model.
• Support due diligence on prospective signings.
• Work with scouts to combine quantitative insight with live observation.
• Improve data workflows, reporting processes and analytical tools across recruitment.
