Job summary

ICP Search, on behalf of a leading elite sports organisation, seeks a Data Analyst in Player Recruitment to underpin evidence-led decisions across the full recruitment cycle. You will work closely with scouts and leadership to build analytical models, combine event and performance data, and deliver clear reports and dashboards that influence signings and shortlist development.

The role requires 2+ years in professional football or elite sport, strong data fluency with Excel/Power BI/SQL/Python,

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience within professional football or elite sport.
• Strong understanding of recruitment and football decision-making.
• Experience with football datasets and tools (Excel, Power BI, SQL or Python).
• Ability to translate analysis into clear recommendations for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build analytical models to identify and evaluate players.
• Combine event, tracking, physical, and contextual data to assess potential.
• Produce clear player reports, visualisations and presentations.
• Develop position-specific benchmarks and shortlists aligned to the playing model.
• Support due diligence on prospective signings.
• Collaborate with scouts to fuse quantitative insights with live observation.
• Improve data workflows, reporting processes and analytical tools across recruitment.
