Job summary

Professional Elite Sport is seeking a Data Analyst, Player Recruitment to strengthen its player recruitment function. Based in the UK with remote working, you will work closely with recruitment, technical and sporting leadership to use data to support evidence-led decisions across the full player acquisition cycle.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience within professional football or elite sport.
• Strong understanding of player recruitment and football decision-making.
• Experience with football datasets and tools such as Excel, Power BI, SQL or Python.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop analytical models to support player identification and evaluation.
• Combine event, tracking, physical and contextual data to assess performance and potential.
• Produce clear player reports, visualisations and presentations.
• Develop position-specific benchmarks, profiles and shortlists aligned to the playing model.
• Support due diligence on prospective signings.
• Work closely with scouts to combine quantitative insight with live observation.
• Improve data workflows, reporting processes and analytical tools across recruitment.
