Job summary

Morgan Philips Group is recruiting a Data & AI Governance Specialist to support the day-to-day operation of governance across a multi-sector group. The role focuses on Purview administration, governance reporting, and stewardship enablement, working with Data Owners, Data Stewards and business stakeholders.

Based in Stevenage with home working options, the six-month contract is Inside IR35 and paid via umbrella.

Qualifications

Experience with Microsoft Purview
Experience supporting Data Governance or Information Governance activities
Understanding of governance frameworks, controls and policies
Experience producing reports, metrics and governance documentation
Experience working with data catalogues, metadata or data quality processes
Strong organisation and stakeholder engagement skills
Excellent written communication and documentation capabilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Governance Operations: Maintain artefacts, standards and supporting documentation
Microsoft Purview Administration: Maintain glossary and metadata assets, assist with data catalogue activities
Stewardship Enablement: Onboard and train Data Owners and Data Stewards, monitor activities
AI Governance Support: Maintain AI governance records and assist with risk assessments
Reporting & Assurance: Produce governance dashboards and reports, support audits and evidence gathering
