Job summary

Whitehall Resources is seeking a Data Intelligence & Governance Specialist to transform data into actionable insights and trusted AI-ready outputs. The role collaborates with business stakeholders to define metrics, ensure data quality, and deliver clear data products.

Based in Cambridge with two days onsite per week, the position falls inside IR35 and requires strong governance, semantic modelling and experience with dashboards and Databricks Genie Rooms.

Qualifications

  • Experience in data analytics, BI or data visualization.
  • Experience creating dashboards with Databricks AI/BI, Power BI or Tableau.
  • Strong SQL and data validation skills.
  • Knowledge of semantic modelling, KPIs and metrics.
  • Experience in data governance, metadata, taxonomy or lineage.
  • Ability to translate stakeholder needs into data solutions.
  • Clear communication of data insights to varied audiences.
  • Interest in AI-enabled analytics and NL data experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with stakeholders to define KPIs and metrics.
  • Create dashboards and visualisations.
  • Translate questions into data and AI experiences.
  • Develop semantic models, KPIs and taxonomy.
  • Configure Genie Rooms for natural-language analytics.
  • Maintain ontology, metadata, tagging and glossaries.
  • Validate data, calculations, visuals and AI outputs.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineers to improve data quality and lineage.
  • Gather feedback and continuously improve solutions.
