Job summary

Morgan Philips Group SA is seeking a Data & AI Governance Specialist to support Purview governance, reporting, and assurance activities in Stevenage with hybrid/remote options. You will coordinate governance forums, maintain artefacts, and support AI governance across the organisation.

Start 28 September for six months, inside IR35, umbrella payroll. Working with Data Owners, Stewards and stakeholders, you will help establish governable, AI-ready data foundations and ensure governance maturity

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Purview is required.
• Experience supporting Data Governance or Information Governance activities.
• Understanding governance frameworks, controls and policies.
• Experience producing reports, metrics and governance documentation.
• Experience working with data catalogues, metadata or data quality processes.
• Strong organisational and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Excellent written communication and documentation capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Governance Operations: maintain artefacts, standards, and docs; coordinate forums and working groups; track actions, decisions, issues and risks; support reporting and KPI production; maintain evidence and audit records.
• Microsoft Purview Administration: maintain business glossary and metadata assets; support data catalogue activities; assist with ownership and stewardship management; support classification and governance processes; produce governance metrics and insights.
• Stewardship Enablement: onboard/train Data Owners and Data Stewards; maintain guidance; monitor stewardship; escalate risks; promote governance awareness.
• AI Governance Support: maintain AI governance records; assist with risk assessments and governance reviews; track policy compliance; support assurance and audit activities; support AI governance reporting.
• Reporting & Assurance: produce dashboards/reports; support audits; maintain governance registers; analyze metrics and trends; support continuous improvement initiatives.
