Job summary

Adria Solutions is recruiting a Cyber Security Engineer for an established organisation investing in its security capabilities. This hands-on role will suit someone who enjoys solving technical problems, improving security platforms and using automation to strengthen cyber defences.

You’ll work closely with security, cloud and engineering teams, helping protect systems while supporting new technology initiatives.

Qualifications

• Hands-on cyber security engineering experience.
• Experience with Microsoft security technologies.
• Knowledge of Azure security, identity protection and conditional access.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and organization.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain and improve Microsoft security technologies (Defender XDR, Sentinel, Purview, Defender for Cloud, Entra).
• Develop security monitoring, telemetry and integrations across cloud, identity, endpoint and apps.
• Build automated security workflows including SOAR playbooks and response processes.
• Investigate security issues and support incident response, threat hunting and remediation.
• Embed security controls into cloud services and development processes.
• Maintain technical documentation and improve coverage, reliability and automation.
