Job summary

The Venues Collection is seeking a commercially minded Credit Controller to join our multi-venue hospitality portfolio. This full-time remote role involves some travel to sites, reporting to the Finance Director and managing accounts receivable across conference, events and accommodation bookings.

You will maintain customer accounts, chase overdue payments, review invoices and collaborate with venue teams to improve collection performance. Strong Excel skills and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in credit control or accounts receivable.
• Strong understanding of sales ledger processes.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Good Excel and financial systems knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain customer accounts across venues.
• Monitor aged debt and proactively collect balances.
• Ensure customer accounts remain within credit limits and terms.
• Chase overdue payments via calls, email and letters.
• Prepare accounts for potential legal action where appropriate.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve payment discrepancies.
