Job summary

ORONA in the UK is seeking a motivated Credit Controller to join our finance team in Sheffield. We welcome applicants with or without prior Credit Control experience and offer a part-time option of 4 days per week, with hybrid working between office and home.

You will manage outstanding debts, improve cash flow and build strong relationships with customers, while collaborating with the wider finance team to minimise credit risk.

Qualifications

• Previous Credit Control or finance experience is desirable but not essential.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills are required.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills are important.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Confident speaking with customers about payments.
• Experience with accounting software is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Chasing outstanding debts by telephone, email, and letter.
• Building positive relationships with customers and negotiating payment plans.
• Assessing credit applications and carrying out credit checks.
• Resolving invoice and payment queries.
• Monitoring customer accounts and following up overdue balances.
• Preparing reports on debtors, collections and cash flow.
• Collaborating with the wider finance team to minimise credit risk.
