Job summary

ABL Health ltd. is recruiting a Counsellor/Psychological Therapist to support Health Improvement and Weight Management services across Oldham. You will deliver evidence-based psychological interventions for adults, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and ensure inclusive, person-centered care.

You will maintain detailed records, participate in team meetings, and contribute to care planning while upholding clinical and legal standards with professional supervision provided.

Qualifications

• Experienced therapist working in community health settings.
• Experience engaging diverse communities within varied cultural environments.
• Adept in clear and adaptable communication.
• Commitment to high standards and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred, evidence-based psychological and therapeutic interventions for adults in weight management and physical activity programmes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support assessments, risk assessments, and care pathways.
• Maintain accurate client records and participate in multidisciplinary meetings and safeguarding discussions where required.
• Provide professional advice to support care planning and ensure inclusive, evidence-based practice.
