Job summary

QAD, a leading software provider, seeks a Corporate Counsel (EMEA) to drive commercial transactions, draft and negotiate SaaS and related agreements, and lead AI/Legal operations initiatives across the EMEA region and globally. You will partner with Sales, Deal Desk, Finance, InfoSec, and Privacy to balance commercial objectives with legal risk.

The role requires 7+ years in-house software/SaaS sales support, GDPR expertise, and fluency in English, with additional EMEA language skills preferred.

Qualifications

• Law degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized jurisdiction.
• Admitted to practice in at least one relevant EMEA jurisdiction.
• Minimum of 7 years supporting sales in-house at a high-growth U.S. multinational software/SaaS company.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate SaaS master agreements, DPAs, and customer-facing terms.
• Provide pragmatic legal guidance to Sales, Deal Desk, Finance, InfoSec, Privacy, and Professional Services.
• Help establish and expand AI-powered workflows and legal templates.
• Monitor GDPR and EU AI Act developments and adapt positions accordingly.
• Support high-volume commercial contracting across EMEA and U.S. matters during EMEA business hours.
