Job summary

Commvault is seeking a self-driven Corporate Counsel to support its EMEA operations from the UK or France, with remote work flexibility. You will negotiate software license agreements, SaaS contracts, and data privacy provisions, while guiding deal teams and ensuring governance.

This role targets 3–5 years of international in-house experience and a business-friendly, proactive approach. The successful candidate will collaborate across Legal, Finance, and Deal Desk, advise on regulatory matters,

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of post-educational professional experience in a similar contract/legal role in an international in-house environment.
• Legal or commercial degree as educational background.
• Excellent negotiation skills with emphasis on software licensing and SaaS contracts.
• Team player with strong client management skills in a fast-paced, client-facing role.
• Able to communicate at all company levels.
• Self-motivated with ability to work remotely with limited supervision.
• Pro-active communicator with problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Serve as day-to-day Contracts partner and liaison to the business with focus on EMEA region sales teams and professional service teams.
• Review and negotiate software license agreements, SaaS contracts, service provider agreements, and support service agreements based on templates.
• Review and provide counsel on data privacy, cybersecurity and sovereignty laws and related legislation.
• Provide training on standard agreements to the sales community.
• Support the Deal Desk -/ Bid Desk Team with tender offers and special licensing provisions.
• Collaborate across Legal, Finance, Deal Desk and other internal teams.
• Support the Professional Service Team with SoW and other service-related agreements.
• Assist with Corporate Governance in EMEA and APAC regions.
