QED Legal LLP is seeking an experienced conveyancer to join its residential property team. This fully remote role lets you manage own caseload from instruction to completion, handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, with regular client contact.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion.
• Deal with freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
• Communicate regularly with clients and keep them informed throughout their transaction.
• Deal with enquiries, searches, title issues and contractual documentation.
• Liaise with estate agents, lenders, brokers and other solicitors.
• Progress matters efficiently and proactively.
• Maintain accurate case management records and ensure compliance with procedures.

The Role

• Manage your own residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion.
• Deal with a range of freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
• Communicate regularly with clients and keep them informed throughout their transaction.
• Deal with enquiries, searches, title issues and contractual documentation.
• Liaise with estate agents, lenders, brokers and other solicitors.
• Progress matters efficiently and proactively.
• Identify and resolve issues as they arise.
• Maintain accurate case management records and ensure compliance with relevant procedures.
• Work independently while remaining connected to a wider property team.
• Contribute to maintaining high standards of client service.

• A qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or experienced conveyancing fee earner.
