Reevr Talent Ltd. is seeking an experienced Controls & Automation Engineer for 6 months with potential extension. The role is remote with UK and occasional European travel for commissioning. Pay is £35-£40 per hour outside IR35. Start ASAP.
Responsibilities include PLC/HMI programming, testing, commissioning, and fault-finding across multiple projects, in collaboration with the MD. Travel within the UK and Europe as required.
Qualifications
- Experience delivering industrial automation or controls projects.
- Strong Siemens PLC programming experience, including STEP 7 and TIA Portal.
- Experience with S7-300 and S7-1200/1500 systems.
- Knowledge of motion control, drives and Profinet.
- Experience with PLC/HMI development, testing and commissioning.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Willingness to travel within the UK and Europe when required.
Responsabilités
- Programme and modify PLC and HMI systems.
- Support automation upgrades and motion control projects.
- Test software and resolve technical issues.
- Commission machinery and control systems at customer sites.
- Carry out fault-finding on PLCs, drives and control systems.
- Manage work across multiple projects and support the wider engineering team.
