Job summary

Vable is hiring a Content Operations Specialist to maintain the source library, set up new sources and fix issues using our internal tools. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract, remote in the UK, with a 40-hour workweek.

The role involves hands-on checks, troubleshooting HTML, and collaborating with the Data Specialist and Customer Success. It offers a structured environment, two-stage interviews, and the possibility of extension.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a detail-focused role such as data quality, operations, research or support.
• Excellent attention to detail, and the patience to do a high volume of similar checks to a consistently high standard.
• The ability to learn quickly, and curiosity about how websites and tools work.
• Ownership of your work: you see tasks through, prioritize without close direction and flag problems early.
• Clear written communication, especially when explaining an issue to colleagues.
• Familiarity with HTML or XPath is a plus.
• The right to live and work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Set up new sources for clients.
• Investigate and fix broken sources with internal tools, e.g. by reading a page's HTML, checking HTTP errors, or using XPath to extract information.
• Carry out daily source maintenance, keeping error levels within quality targets and fix issues before clients notice them.
• Maintain publisher records, including name updates.
• Escalate wider issues to the Product Manager.
• Support client requests, from quick checks to migrations and bulk source projects.
• Take part in maintenance projects at set points in the year to find hidden problems across content.
• Share feedback on tools and processes to improve them.
• Your work should show up in source health, fewer client-reported issues and faster turnaround on client requests.
