Job summary

Gi Group United Kingdom is seeking a Product Content Specialist for a 6-month contract. This fully remote role supports launching new products on European e-commerce sites, ensuring accurate descriptions, specs, images and content aligned with company standards.

You will collect data from suppliers, prepare content, maintain CMS entries and collaborate with partners to meet deadlines while upholding spelling, grammar and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience developing, updating or maintaining digital content using CMS.
• Strong written English with excellent spelling and grammar.
• Microsoft Excel skills and ability to work with large datasets.
• Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing or a scientific field is a plus.
• Working knowledge of scientific terminology and abbreviations.

Responsibilities

• Collect product specifications and data from suppliers.
• Review and enhance product descriptions, images and content before publication.
• Create clear product descriptions from supplier information.
• Enter and maintain product information in content management systems.
• Ensure content follows company procedures and brand guidelines.
• Identify missing information and inconsistencies for improvement.
• Use Excel to manage large volumes of product data.
• Collaborate with suppliers, IT and partners to resolve queries.
• Monitor progress and ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain high standards of spelling, grammar and accuracy.
