Job summary

Quilter plc is seeking a Level 4 Diploma qualified professional to join our supervision team as a remote Competency Assessor. You will assess adviser populations, enforce oversight contracts, and educate representatives on compliance and customer outcomes.

You will conduct risk assessments, Adviser Reviews, and provide coaching while reporting to the Compliance Partner. A strong independence, initiative, and MS Office proficiency are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 4 Diploma minimum and have proven experience in financial services, ideally in supervision.
• Familiarity with Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) and oversight of Appointed Representatives/Registered Individuals.
• Strong communication, questioning, and risk assessment skills; ability to enforce standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct remote competency assessment meetings across adviser population.
• Explain and enforce oversight contract with ARs and RIs, detailing requirements and timescales.
• Educate ARs and RIs on compliance requirements and customer outcomes.
• Deliver risk assessment regime and assess necessary skills and knowledge.
• Conduct Adviser Reviews, provide coaching/feedback, escalate issues as needed.
