The British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC) is seeking a Communications Executive to join its content team. The role covers communications, content creation, digital marketing, social media, PR, media relations and campaign support, with remote/home-based working and occasional travel to the BASC head office.

You will source and produce content, manage social channels, support PR campaigns, and build relations with media outlets while ensuring BASC is represented accurately and

Competenze

• A degree or professional qualification in communications, public relations or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in a communications role with a strong portfolio of content and campaign delivery.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience of social media planning, publishing, engagement and performance reporting.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.

Mansioni

• Source, develop and produce engaging content across channels including press releases, blogs, podcasts, social media, newsletters, website updates, magazine content and other publications.
• Help manage and grow BASC's social media presence, including planning, publishing, engagement and performance monitoring.
• Support the delivery of PR campaigns, events and announcements.
• Assist in developing relationships with journalists, bloggers and media outlets, including coordinating interviews and media opportunities.
• Help ensure BASC, sustainable shooting and conservation are fairly and accurately represented across online and offline media.
• Support crisis communications activity where required.
• Monitor communications and media performance and contribute to reporting and continuous improvement.
• Work with regional teams to produce communications materials for game fairs, conferences, seminars and trade shows.
• Support the creation, publication and proofing of reports and other internal and external documents.
• Help maintain consistent brand tone, style and quality across all communications activity.
