Job summary

ACCA Careers is seeking a commercially minded Finance partner to drive business performance from a Doncaster base, with a hybrid pattern of working from home and bi-monthly visits to the head office.

The role reports to the Commercial Finance Director and covers around £35m revenue, delivering insights, budgeting, forecasting and risk mitigation while partnering with senior stakeholders to improve profitability.

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified accountant (Chartered Accountant or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years' experience in commercial finance.
• Experience of business partnering senior stakeholders and driving performance improvement.
• Ability to build relationships with and influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience of financial modelling is desirable.
• Experience of contract management is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the MD and SLT to drive performance and support decision making.
• Drive commercial and financial insights.
• Monitor and report performance against KPIs.
• Deliver cash and margin improvement initiatives.
• Mitigate financial risk and leverage financial opportunities.
• Financial modelling for business cases.
• Analyse contract profitability and provide recommendations.
• Produce monthly performance packs with commentary on performance vs budget.
• Budgeting and forecasting.
