Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Security Engineer - SecOps & Cloud for a fully remote, international team based in the United Kingdom. The role combines hands-on security operations with longer-term security improvements across AWS infrastructure, endpoints, SaaS apps and application-layer defenses.

You will collaborate with IT, DevOps, compliance, and SOC providers to detect, investigate, and remediate risks, contributing to vulnerability reduction, incident response readiness, and secure cloud

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Security Engineering, SecOps, or Cloud Security.
• Hands-on experience configuring, monitoring, and securing AWS environments.
• Experience coordinating with SOC teams and remediation activities.

Responsibilities

• Improve and maintain AWS security configurations.
• Manage security tooling across the organization.
• Partner with IT to ensure endpoints meet security baselines.
• Review alerts from SOC providers and coordinate remediation.
• Lead vulnerability management and patching with IT/DevOps teams.
• Maintain WAF rules and application-layer security controls.
• Contribute to backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity testing.
• Provide security roadmap recommendations.
