Job summary

The Pharmacist Network is seeking a Remote Clinical Pharmacist (Independent Prescriber) to support GP practices nationwide. The role focuses on safe medicines optimisation, resolving medication queries, and leading clinical pharmacy services in primary care settings.

Candidates should have at least 12 months in GP/primary care, be GPHC registered, hold an Independent Prescriber qualification, and complete CPPE Pathway. DBS clearance is required and flexible start within 4–8 weeks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months experience in general practice/primary care.
• GPHC registration as Pharmacist.
• Independent prescribing qualification.
• CPPE Pathway completed or exempt.
• DBS certificate obtained.

Responsibilities

• Resolve medication-related queries.
• Conduct polypharmacy reviews and SMRs.
• Perform medication reviews and reconciliations.
• Support practice staff with prescription queries.
• Deliver medicines optimisation and quality improvement.
