Job summary

CVS Group is seeking a Clinical Data Scientist to transform veterinary clinical data into actionable insights. You will lead analytics, develop reporting solutions from EHR data, and apply ML and NLP to unstructured notes. This is a remote role with some travel to meetings, collaborating with clinical leadership and the Data & Technology teams.

You’ll work on improving patient outcomes and clinical standards, contributing to CVS's long-term data strategy and research capabilities.

Qualifications

• Post-graduate training in health data science, epidemiology, statistics or related field.
• Degree in veterinary, medical or related clinical sciences is desirable.
• Experience with large-scale health data, RDBMS and data warehouses.
• Proficiency with Power BI for data visualization and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead analytics and health data science apply to evidence-based veterinary medicine.
• Develop reporting solutions with EHR data and dashboards for clinical teams.
• Apply ML, NLP and predictive analytics to unstructured data.
• Collaborate with clinical leadership and data science teams to shape strategy.
• Produce insights to improve patient outcomes and operational effectiveness.
• Maintain data governance, quality and reproducibility standards.
