Job summary

CVS Group plc is seeking a Veterinary Clinical Pathologist to join Finn Pathologists. The role includes examining cytology/haematology submissions, reporting a range of pathology tests, and supporting the team while liaising with clinicians.

The position offers on-site, hybrid, or remote work arrangements with a permanent, full-time contract and a negotiable part-time option. Applicants should be MRCVS and board-certified in veterinary clinical pathology.

Qualifications

• Active membership of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (MRCVS) is required.
• Board certification in veterinary clinical pathology (DipECVCP, DACVP, FRCPath) or equivalent is essential.

Responsibilities

• Examine cytology and haematology submissions; occasional reporting of electrophoresis, biochemistry/endocrinology, and bone marrow histology.
• Prepare and issue clinical pathology reports with high scientific standards and timely turnaround.
• Contribute to pathology duties on a rotational basis; assist with client queries and support team objectives.
• Consult with other pathologists in performing caseloads; advise laboratory personnel.
