Job summary

Gallagher is seeking a Claims Supervisor for a remote role based in California, overseeing a team of P&L claims examiners and ensuring high-quality claims handling and client satisfaction.

The position requires 5+ years P&C claims experience, 2+ years supervisory experience, and a high school diploma, with a preference for a Bachelor's degree. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential. Gallagher offers competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist directly with client questions, concerns and/or issues.
• Handle personal claim file caseload as assigned.
• Assist with balancing Examiner pending files.
• Review Examiner technical work product and reserve adequacy.
• Review accuracy of Examiner billable hours.
• Work with Clients/Account Executives to schedule, prepare and conduct claim file reviews.
• Attend JPA or other client meetings.
• Ensure claims are listed on agendas for JPA discussion.
• Review Examiner write ups for JPA meetings for technical correctness and readability.
• Approve advance/special invoices.
• Review monthly trust account invoicing.
• Monitor trust account balances.
• Review monthly loss runs.
• Review incident reports
• Other duties as assigned.
