Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 7+ years of related claims experience at senior adjuster level.
• Licensed and/or certified in all states where claims are handled.
• Knowledge of industry standards and practices.
• Experience with claims-related computer software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed analysis to investigate exposure and suggest settlement actions.
• Draft reservation of rights and denial letters; negotiate settlements.
• Interact with all parties in the claims process and advise on when outside specialists are needed.
• Handle claims in line with client and corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
• Document claim activity clearly to support outcomes of the file.
• Coach, mentor, and possibly supervise junior adjusters.
