Job summary

VodafoneThree is seeking a technically skilled engineer for a remote-based role, delivering Cisco LAN/WLAN management and project activities. The position requires working full-time (37.5 hours/week) with occasional travel to customer sites in the Midlands and South of the UK.

A Secure Vetting (SC) clearance is required or easily achievable. You’ll join a team responsible for networking solutions, delivering reliable service, and collaborating with engineers to meet delivery and performance

Qualifications

Extensive experience with Cisco LAN and Wireless LAN technologies.
Good understanding Cisco Voice Technologies.
Experience in configuring networks in a managed data-networking environment, ideally with a networking qualification.
Self-motivating individual with the ability to develop strong customer relationships in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Assure/ Incident Management of Cisco Managed LAN and WLAN.
Management of day-to-day project and provide activities.
Achieve agreed performance levels in line with business targets, customer requirements and SLAs.
Escalate issues to ensure SLAs are not breached.
Maintenance of site documentation.
Liaise with Project Engineers, Project Managers, Service Desk and High Care Delivery colleagues.
