Job summary

AfterQuery Experts is seeking Chemistry Experts to create and refine chemistry reasoning challenges for AI training modules. This remote, flexible role covers organic, inorganic, physical, analytical chemistry, testing AI model reasoning with rigorous scenarios.

You will design problems, evaluate model responses, and collaborate with scientists to ensure accurate, comprehensive coverage across subfields. Strong communication and a MS or PhD in Chemistry or equivalent experience are required.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Chemistry or related field (or equivalent industry experience).
• Strong command of at least two chemistry subfields (organic, inorganic, physical, analytical, or biochemistry).
• Exceptional analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality chemistry problems, mechanism walkthroughs, and lab-scenario case studies that challenge AI models.
• Evaluate and validate model responses, offering detailed feedback on scientific accuracy and reasoning.
• Collaborate with a team of scientists and technical experts to fine-tune problem difficulty and topical coverage.
