Job summary

XPS Group is seeking a Senior Consultant to join the Continuous Improvement Team in Middlesbrough. The role focuses on standardising and improving processes within the Admin business to boost efficiency, accelerate member self-service and digitisation, and manage delivery of improvement projects requested by clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in Public Sector operations and multi-channel service environments.
• Proven ability to lead change delivery, governance forums and decision-making.
• Data-led approach to continuous improvement and measurable service improvements.
• Experience with change intake, backlog prioritisation and benefits realisation.

Responsibilities

• Owning the change pipeline: establish and maintain intake, assessment and prioritisation process; manage a single backlog and roadmap with clear decision points.
• Spend time with the proposition team to understand process flows and pain points; document current position using CI methodologies.
• Document requirements for development/improvement areas identified during review or client suggestions.
• Challenge current ways of working and find innovative, efficient improvements to support future growth.
• Governance and reporting to Head of CI and client; PM to maintain reports and action logs.
• Define success measures, baseline performance, track adoption and post go-live reviews.
• Ensure delivery aligns with the roadmap; chair regular meetings with Product Manager and project team.
• Collaborate with Client Relationship Manager to keep client updated and manage expectations.
