Everyturn Mental Health is seeking a Case Worker to join the Together in a Crisis team, a permanent full-time role located across North Tyneside. The position is remote, but applicants must be based in the North East, UK.

You will support individuals in emotional distress, help them problem solve, co-produce crisis plans, and guide them to local services while managing your own caseload with empathy and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Detailed knowledge of the effects of stigma and discrimination.
• Detailed knowledge of recovery in mental health.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and effectively manage a caseload.
• Good IT skills.
• Self-motivation and the ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• Knowledge of homelessness, financial inclusion or substance misuse.

Responsabilités

• Provide support focused on active, empathic listening and help problem solve.
• Co-produce a crisis plan, relapse prevention and other self-management tools with the individual.
• Support the individual to develop knowledge, skills and confidence to withstand future challenges.
• Assist linking to local services and resources and maintain the caseload.
