Job summary

Client Server Limited is seeking a C# Software Engineer / Team Lead in Bracknell. The role combines hands-on development with technical ownership of architecture, APIs, and system design. You will mentor the squad and drive improvements while delivering complex distributed services on AWS.

The position offers hybrid working options with office days in Bracknell and a strong focus on leadership, collaboration with Product Managers, and modern tooling including AI-assisted coding.

Qualifications

• Experience leading software engineering teams.
• Strong backend development with C#/.NET.
• System design in distributed/microservice architectures.
• Frontend experience with Vue.js / React / Angular.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
• Production AWS experience (SQS, DynamoDB, S3, ECS, Lambda).
• Ownership of CI/CD and release processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead Squad across architecture, development, delivery and production ops.
• Write production code and tackle complex technical problems.
• Own system design, API design, and technical decisions.
• Mentor engineers, run 1-2-1s and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Product Managers on roadmaps and priorities.
