Job summary

Client Server Ltd. in Bracknell, Berkshire seeks a senior backend C# Developer to lead the rebuild of a payments platform. You’ll own backend services, build robust APIs with C# .Net Core, and influence architecture across microservices and event-driven patterns.

You’ll work on SQL databases, cloud infra (AWS), and use AI coding tools like Claude or Copilot to boost productivity, with hybrid WFH and office twice weekly.

Qualifications

• You have strong C# .Net Core backend development experience.
• You have experience building production APIs.
• You have good SQL skills.
• You have experience with system design, software architecture, microservices and event driven systems.
• You\'re comfortable working with cloud infrastructure in production; AWS preferred.
• You have experience mentoring engineers and sharing technical knowledge.
• You have hands‑on experience using AI coding / development tools such as Claude or Copilot.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust, scalable APIs and backend services with C# .Net Core.
• Lead new features and drive architectural decisions across microservices and event-driven systems.
• Collaborate with a small autonomous team including QA and a Team Lead.
• Mentor engineers and share technical knowledge to raise coding standards.
