Job summary

Babcock is seeking a Business Information Analyst to transform data into decision-ready insights. You will work remotely with fortnightly visits to Andover, supporting defence capability through BI solutions and analytics.

You will develop dashboards and reports, engage with diverse stakeholders, and contribute to digital transformation initiatives. The role includes data-driven decision support and ongoing process improvement.

Qualifications

Experience building BI, analytics or reporting solutions using Power BI, SQL, Tableau, QlikView or similar tools.
Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into practical data solutions.

Responsibilities

Analyse operational, asset management and logistics data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
Develop and enhance business intelligence dashboards, reports and visualisations using Power BI and SQL.
Collaborate with Asset Management, Engineering, Supply Chain and Programme teams to deliver data-driven solutions.
Drive continuous improvement through automation, forecasting and process optimisation.
Support strategic decision-making by providing accurate and insightful performance reporting.
