Job summary

Babcock is seeking a Business Information Analyst to turn data into decisions, supporting defence capability. The role is remote with fortnightly visits to the Andover site and a 37-hour week, Monday to Friday.

You will work with stakeholders to design BI solutions, develop dashboards, and provide insights to drive strategic decisions across asset management, engineering, and supply chain.

Qualifications

• Experience building BI, analytics or reporting solutions using Power BI, SQL, Tableau or similar.
• Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex datasets and communicating findings.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into data solutions.
• Experience working with large operational, engineering, asset management, supply chain or ERP datasets.
• Experience engaging and collaborating with a broad range of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyse operational, asset management and logistics data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Develop and enhance BI dashboards, reports and visualisations using Power BI and SQL.
• Collaborate with Asset Management, Engineering, Supply Chain and Programme teams to deliver data-driven solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement through automation, forecasting and process optimisation.
• Support strategic decision-making by providing accurate and insightful performance reporting.
