Job summary

Ascensia Diabetes Care Holdings AG is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive sales in the Cheshire & Merseyside region. You will promote the Contour glucose meter portfolio to primary care, build relationships with NHS stakeholders, and lead market access initiatives while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

The role requires strong field sales experience in diabetes/related healthcare markets, stakeholder management skills, and willingness to travel within the territory.

Qualifications

• Experience selling into diabetes or related healthcare markets.
• Knowledge of stakeholder mapping and procurement processes.
• Established primary care network across Cheshire & Merseyside.
• Ability to manage and grow customer accounts and meet sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Deliver annual sales targets for the territory in primary care.
• Build and lead partnerships with NHS stakeholders (ICBs, PCNs, GP surgeries).
• Maximise formulary access opportunities for Ascensia products.
• Execute field marketing strategies with approved materials and messaging.
• Maintain deep product knowledge and ensure regulatory compliance.
