Job summary

Jackson Hogg Limited is seeking an experienced Business Analyst Contractor for a short-term discovery and documentation project. You will map and document end-to-end processes, create SOPs, and translate complex operations into accessible business artefacts.

The role requires proactive stakeholder engagement, rapid onboarding, and delivering high-quality documentation within a fast-paced environment. This is a fully remote contract with possible UK office visits.

Qualifications

• Proven BI analyst delivering process discovery and documentation projects.
• Strong process-mapping experience using Visio or equivalent tools.
• Experience creating SOPs, operational procedures and business documentation.
• Excellent requirements gathering and stakeholder interviewing skills.
• Ability to document end-to-end business processes, controls and exception handling procedures.
• Strong workshop facilitation experience.
• Experience translating technical information into clear business language.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery activities to understand existing business processes, procedures and system interactions.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops and knowledge-gathering sessions.
• Analyse current ways of working and document process dependencies.
• Identify process gaps, risks, inefficiencies and documentation opportunities.
• Capture and document current-state processes in a clear and consistent format.
