Job summary

Bennett And Game Recruitment is seeking a BMS Service Engineer to service and maintain building management systems across Dorset, with a strong focus on Tridium platforms. The role combines remote-based work with on-site visits to hospitals and NHS facilities, requiring independent scheduling and fault diagnosis.

The ideal candidate will have proven BMS/building controls experience, a solid electrical background, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Tridium knowledge is essential.
• Strong electrical background with fault-finding skills.
• Experience with BMS/building controls systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Good communication with customers and site personnel.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive service work on BMS and building control systems.
• Diagnose and resolve faults across BMS and electrical/building services.
• Work with Tridium-based BMS systems and optimise where required.
• Attend customer sites independently and own service visits from diagnosis to completion.
• Complete regular service contracts across NHS and other healthcare environments.
• Identify additional remedial works and provide technical recommendations to customers.
• Carry out remedial BMS and control-system works where required.
• Support delivery of smaller BMS and building controls projects.
• Complete system checks, testing and commissioning activities.
• Travel regularly to sites across Dorset and surrounding areas.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and safety.
