Job summary

Unify is seeking an experienced BMS Service Engineer to service and support a range of commercial properties across the North East. You will manage maintenance, fault diagnosis, and small projects, ensuring optimal building performance and energy efficiency.

You will work with Trend Controls or Tridium Niagara platforms, with strong HVAC knowledge and robust networking basics. A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining commercial BMS installations.
• Good understanding of HVAC plant and building services.
• Familiarity with BACnet, Modbus or M-Bus protocols.
• Ability to use BMS software for fault diagnosis and adjustments.
• Basic networking knowledge including IP addressing.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and fault-find Building Management Systems across multiple sites.
• Identify opportunities to improve system performance and energy efficiency.
• Carry out software modifications, controller changes and graphics updates where required.
• Complete site surveys and provide upgrade recommendations.
• Support small installation and commissioning projects.
• Participate in the on-call rota and provide technical support as needed.
• Build strong relationships with customers and deliver high-quality service.
