Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a BMS / Building Controls Programmer in Cornwall. You will develop and programme building management systems from concept to completion, using Tridium to configure automation solutions and writing software to control building services.

The role demands hands-on PLC/controls experience, strong problem-solving, and the ability to work with engineers and electricians.

Qualifications

Experience in BMS/building automation or PLC-based control systems.
Proficiency with Tridium-based systems is essential.
Strong problem-solving abilities and independent work ethic.
Ability to coordinate with engineers, electricians and tech teams.

Responsibilities

Develop and programme building management systems from concept through completion.
Use Tridium-based control systems to configure building automation solutions.
Write and modify software to control building services.
Collaborate with electrical engineers and electricians during development and installation.
Engineer complete control solutions including programming, configuration and integration.
Test, troubleshoot and optimise control systems for reliable operation.
Document programming and system configurations clearly for projects.
Assist with commissioning and resolving technical issues as required.
Stay up-to-date with building controls and automation technologies.
