Job summary
VERTEC SERVICES Ltd. is seeking a BMS Design Engineer to deliver detailed building management system designs for hyperscale and mission-critical environments, with remote working options.
You will collaborate with MEP and commissioning teams to ensure integration of HVAC and BMS controls across large data centre projects in Europe. The role requires expertise in BACnet/Modbus/MQTT, and experience with Tridium Niagara, Schneider EcoStruxure, Siemens Desigo or Trend platforms, to design, review
Qualifications
- Proven experience in BMS engineering or building automation.
- Strong HVAC controls knowledge and plant systems.
- Experience with BACnet, Modbus, MQTT and relevant BMS platforms.
Responsibilities
- Produce detailed BMS design packages including points schedules, wiring schematics, control panel layouts and Descriptions of Operation.
- Design and review BMS network architectures using BACnet, Modbus and LonWorks.
- Collaborate with MEP, IT and commissioning teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review design submissions, RFIs and technical queries from contractors and suppliers.
- Support FAT and SAT testing.
- Ensure all designs meet client requirements, industry standards and energy efficiency objectives.
- Work with industry-leading BMS platforms including Tridium Niagara, Schneider, Siemens and Trend.
