Job summary

Upfront Recruitment in City of London is seeking a BMS Design Engineer to own defined technical work on the current project, covering design, coordination, installation support and handover.

The role involves producing points schedules and control strategies, developing panel and field-device designs, planning networks and interfaces with mechanical, electrical, fire, security and IT teams, and supporting reviews, FAT/SAT and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Experience in BMS design, commissioning or project delivery.
• Experience producing or reviewing points schedules and control strategies.
• Understanding of control panels, field devices and electrical interfaces.
• Ability to read mechanical, electrical and controls drawings.
• Understanding of BACnet, Modbus or M-Bus.
• Experience with Tridium Niagara, Distech, energy management systems or smart buildings would be useful.

Responsibilities

• Produce points schedules, Descriptions of Operation and HVAC control strategies.

• Plan BMS and EMS networks and system architecture.

Salary and Package: £55,00 to £70,000 DOE + package (PAYE), or a self-employed contract rate depending on experience
Location: City of London
Position: Full-time, permanent PAYE or self-employed contract
Start: Immediate or subject to notice period

About the Role
