Job summary

Babcock is seeking a Business Information Analyst to help shape a nationally significant defence transformation programme. In this remote role you’ll translate complex operational and asset data into insightful dashboards and reports, driving data-driven decisions across engineering, logistics and operations.

You will develop BI solutions using Power BI and SQL, contribute to predictive analytics, and design automated reporting to improve data quality while balancing travel to Andover, Hampshire

Qualifications

• Degree in analytics, data science, information systems, computer science, math or stats.
• Strong BI and data visualization experience, especially with Power BI.
• Experience with SQL, data modelling and data management.
• Experience in defence, logistics, asset-intensive environments.

Responsibilities

• Analyse operational, asset and fleet readiness data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Develop interactive dashboards, reports and visualisations using BI tools.
• Collaborate with engineering, logistics, programme and operational teams to deliver data-driven solutions.
• Design automated reporting processes to improve efficiency and data quality.
• Support predictive analytics and continuous improvement initiatives to optimise performance & decision-making.
