Job summary

Ethos is seeking experienced behavioural insights researchers to help train our language model on professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. You will design and conduct studies, synthesize insights, and craft outputs that inform product decisions.

This is a fully remote, flexible engagement of 5–20 hours per week with ASAP start. 4+ years in customer or user research and strong writing craft are required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years conducting customer or user research from study design to insight synthesis.
• Fluency with thematic coding, survey design/statistics, and translating data into usable outputs.
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship with strong written communication.

Responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks across core workflows.
• Design and conduct moderated usability tests and synthesize findings into actionable insights.
• Translate research findings into product recommendations, journey maps, and repository tagging.
